That is a freezer full of our first "half a hog". We are officially stocked full of bacon, pork chops, ribs, roasts, sausage and some ham hocks. Yum. I predict lots of pork in our future.
That is a LARGE pot of homeade tomato sauce. I'd never done an all day sauce, but it was so easy, cheap and now I have a lot of this in my freezer as well. Ava also helped me make some banana bread while we had the sauce simmering. Anytime we have bananas get overripe, I pop them in my freezer just like my grandma taught me. Then we pull them out on cool fall Sunday afternoons to cook up some goodness. :)
